Gillian Smith has over 20 years of marketing, sales, and communications experience with big companies and brands including Burger King, Coca-Cola, and LEGOLAND. She also has significant expertise with non-profit organizations, including Teach For America and City Year, and was the first Chief Marketing Officer for both organizations. She has worked with companies and organizations across multiple industries, of all shapes and sizes, with marketing budgets from $0 to more than $400 million. Gillian is a sought after speaker and lecturer, and has served as a judge at the North American EFFIE awards (the Academy Awards for marketing effectiveness) for several years.

Her numerous accolades include being named an “Online All-Star” by MediaPost, a “Woman to Watch” by Advertising Age, and she was an American Airlines Road Warrior Grand Prize winner, which landed her on the cover of their inflight magazine and on their inflight entertainment.

Her marketing campaigns have won awards including Cannes Golden Lions, Effies, Association of National Advertisers Best Multicultural Advertising, Davey, Forrester Groundswell, Rosoff Award for Diversity, Best Viral Advertising (Wall Street Journal), The One Show, Golden Marble Awards for best children’s advertising, and even Best Campaign of the Century according to Advertising Age and The New York Times.

Gillian was a Fulbright Scholar to Germany, and a member of Leadership Orlando 96 and Leadership Florida 31. She is married with two teenage boys, loves to travel, speaks fluent German and enjoys triathlons, although says she is very, very slow.

Jocelyn Noya Quintana

Jocelyn has dedicated her 18-year professional career to the strategic support of social entrepreneurs and mission-driven organizations.

As a consultant and advisor to more than 70 organizations during her tenure, she has honed her knowledge and experience in marketing, communications, positioning, social media strategy, recruitment strategy, talent acquisition, digital analytics, adult learning design, and coaching & management. In her work at the international nonprofit Teach For All, Jocelyn has led the network's work in marketing & positioning, ensuring that the independent organizations that form part of the Teach For All network are building strong brands and credibility.

In her work with Carambola Consulting, Jocelyn has led multiple initiatives for clients, including qualitative research, social media strategy, the hiring and onboarding of marketing staff, the design of learning communities, and recruitment strategy & messaging.

Jocelyn is fully bilingual in Spanish & English, and she currently resides in Miami, Florida. She is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in journalism & communications, and she received her graduate degree in nonprofit management from the Universidad de San Andres in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
